You Can Easily Remove the Ball Head From the JOBY Gorillapod Tripod and mount a lot better ball head - Manfrotto 496RC2 Ball Head. It will allow you to quickly remove the camera from the Joby Tripod and mount it on the other Manfrotto tripod without changing the release plate.
