Non-cancerous moles do not always have to be removed, but some people prefer to have their moles removed regardless of whether they are cancerous or could develop into cancer. Skin tags are common skin growth in which a short, narrow stalk sticks out. Skin tags are usually harmless and painless. The main symptom is a growth on the skin, often on the neck, upper chest, underarms, and eyelids. They may become irritated from rubbing against clothing. Skin tags occur when extra cells grow in the top layers of the skin. They tend to develop when the skin rubs against itself. The plasma pen emits a small plasma arc, in a sweeping motion all over the mole or skin tag. The plasma pen burns the mole or skin tag. Continue this motion until the surface of the mole has been covered. Most moles can be removed in a single session, but occasionally bigger moles require a second treatment. Results are supposed to last indefinitely. Following the treatment, you should avoid direct sunlight and apply SPF to the area as well as anti-scar products (listed the ones I used below). The fine needles are used for smaller marks and spots, like skin tags.
